Prime Timers Victoria (BC Canada) is a membership-based organization that exists to meet the social, educational and recreational needs of adult gay, bisexual and trans men.
Prime Timers Victoria is one of approximately 45 chapters affiliated with PrimerTimers Worldwide, Inc. The first chapter began in 1987 by Woody Baldwin in Boston when he discovered, almost by accident, that there was great interest expressed by gay and bisexual men for an organization to meet their social, educational and recreational needs.
Prime Timers Victoria had its beginnings in late 1991 with the first election of officers in March 1992. General membership meetings are normally held on the fourth Sunday of each month (except Summer months) at the James Bay United Church Hall on 511 Michigan St., Victoria.

We provide activities and events to members as diverse as possible that cover the social, physical, fun, educational, and the socially aware.

Steering Committee
Prime Timers Victoria is administered by a steering committee, elected by the general membership at the annual meeting.
Meetings
General meetings are normally scheduled for the fourth Sunday of each month and begin at 3 p.m. They are held at the James Bay United Church Hall on 511 Michigan Street, Victoria, BC, Canada. Meetings are followed by coffee and a social. General meetings are not normally held during summer months.

Vintage Views is our newsletter that is produced monthly, except during summer months, and distributed to Prime Timers members by email in pdf format.

Prime Timers are

- Active in their communities, including volunteering in civic causes, the arts, entertainment and every other facet of healthy living
- Individuals who believe in the concept that the more one participates and contributes, the more one benefits from membership in organizations such as Prime Timers
